This project was to design the brand identity for a community organization. The work included coming up with the name of the organization, logo, space, programing, and other branded material. The wordmark set is meant to be expanding upon and reflect the seasonality of the garden.
These rendering show how a visitor to the garden would transition from the street up to the rooftop. The growing forms of the logo used here as simple murals to spark interest in what’s on the roof above.
Spring Up is focused on spreading the joy of gardening and farm to table to cooking to the local community. The gardens operate in part as a COOP where members who contribute their time to maintaining the space receive fresh vegetables from the garden in exchange. Spring Up also has programs geared towards kids.
THE FARM STAND
Some of the vegetables from the garden are sold at the Spring Up Market cart. The cart would travel around the city, focusing on areas where fresh food is less readily available.
As another means of funding the space, the garden also doubles as an intimate farm to table restaurant.
